During my own long spiritual journey, I learned from various traditions, but the journey itself is solitary and the Way is inward. For this reason I can’t recommend any ritual or tradition. I will say that there are many, many things which can and will move us along the Way, the important point is to keep focused on the sacred, while not getting bogged down with bureaucracy.

Exploration as a freethinker (One who has rejected authority and dogma, especially in his religious thinking, in favor of rational inquiry and speculation) is critical for any authentic spiritual journey.

Eventually you’ll realize the most valuable resource is exactly where ever you find yourself. When you begin to feel at home where ever you are in what ever you’re doing, without the need to search, you’ll know you’re close.
