Illusion Delusion

The Universe is differentiated by design, so whatever way we are led to experience its complete oneness, it’s a temporary experience, merely a fleeting symbol which points to the truth, the truth that the Universe itself is One as it is.   Any attempt to reduce it to 1 thing or unite it into one undifferentiated mass means we are missing the exquisite web of One that it is by design.

People all over are saying the World is an illusion, none of it is real,  is it real?  Is it an Illusion?    For many enlightenment leads to annihilation, because they don’t look past the illusion, the illusion is the boundaries.  What is left with when we remove the boundaries?    The boundaries between things are illusions, for instance we experience an inner life and an outer life,  the inner and the outer are one, we can’t compartmentalize them as if they are two separate things.   We can apply this in all aspects of our life, start removing the compartments, removing boundaries.

When your mind is transparent to the depths and your words and actions are one, the whole world becomes transparent. ~ Book of Songs

Is the Universe real?   The Universe really exists but not in the way we imagine it exists.   We imagine it is a place of suffering, a hostile environment that we can escape, or we imagine its simply a backdrop to the more important story of “me”    The reason religion is so dangerous is because it lulls us into this false belief of an omnipotent being, anywhere but here, that looks out for us, we need to suspend reason to support this belief, suspending reason then bleeds over into all aspects of life, magical thinking becomes the way.

Life is this Universe, there is nothing to escape, because we are it, it is us.   One idea, popular right now, is that we can know nothing, things just happen, there is no truth, this is just as dangerous as magical thinking, both a suspension of reason.

The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible. ~ Albert Einstein

The Universe itself is Alive, is intelligent, is the Divine we are searching for, is the One life, is God.  By removing the illusory boundaries in our minds we see that there is nothing but this.

For many of us the way has been a practice of “no-mind” an intention to clear the mind, an intent to focus on the phenomena free of superficial thought so that truth reveals itself.     Sometimes In this way thought itself gets a bad rap, but thought is inevitable, and reason is how we keep it from sliding back into the superficial or magical.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. ~ Buddha

So what is illusion?  What is real?  Each of us comes to our own understanding through common sense.  I have told you what I conclude, but until you come to your own conclusion it’s just an idea, a belief, you have to come to your own conclusions, reality does not rely on belief.
